Since 2000, poetry has been put in the spotlight every year at the end of January. The original Poetry Day grew into a full Poetry Week in 2013. During this week (this year from January 28 to February 3) you will be treated to the Poetry Gift by participating bookstores.
The Poetry Gift was written in 2021 by the Flemish poet Maud Vanhauwaert and the Dutch poet Rodaan Al Galidi. The gift was designed by Jelle Jespers. The theme is “Together” and the title of the Poetry Gift 2021 is SAMEN AL T’HOPE.
