Schiermonnikoog is preparing for the literature festival Meet Me at the Lighthouse, from 18 to 20 November. It is the first time that the festival takes place. There are still tickets available.
Writers, musicians and other participants in the festival are Lisa Weeda, Mariken Heitman, Joost Oomen, Miek Zwamborn, Sholeh Rezazadeh, Peter Zantingh, Nina Polak, Bauke Vermaas, Koos Dijksterhuis, Alara Adilow, Jaap Robben, Ellen de Bruin, Fiep van Bodegom, Huib Henrichs, Kaspar, Deniz Kavafoglu, Erik Jansen, Puck van Dijk, Maarten Bronts, Michael ter Maat, Esmé van der Boom, Marjolein van der Elburg, Gerard Beentjes, Femke Essink and Ruben Jacobs.
In lectures, conversations, interviews, walks and reading clubs, themes such as nature, ecology, climate, tourism and identity are discussed. Schiermonnikoog is a decor, inspiration and topic of conversation.
